MOFFATDALE

Moffatdale is a small Queensland Rural Location within the local government area of South Burnett, it is located approximately 164kms from the capital Brisbane covering an area of 52.634 square kilometers.

Although Moffatdale is not officially a town, there is a residential subdivision near the school. Apart from this, the land use is a mixture of grazing on native vegetation and crop growing.

Moffatdale is well known for the wineries dotted around the countryside. Moffatdale is also home to Bjelke-Petersen Dam. One of the recreational dams in the South Burnett.

Even though Moffatdale is not a town there are numerous accommodation options at the wineries and at Bjelke-Petersen Dam.
