The road surface is a mixture of bitumen/gravel and is probably the loop that challenges riders the most.

However, the views at the top are worth the effort. Marvellous 270-degree views await form the top of McDonalds Road.

If you want to see the South Burnett at its best then this is definitely the loop to do.
