Heading north from Tingoora the downhill gradient continues. This is a leisurely 7.9km ride into Wondai.

Wondai has really become the hub of the South Burnett rail Trail. There are numerous types of accommodation in town, from free camping right on the Rail Trail to motel, cabin and pub style accommodation.

There are also a number of cafes in town if you are in need of a caffeine fix. Wondai has plenty of picnic and toilet facilities as well as a well stocked supermarket if you need to restock.

Make sure while you are in Wondai to stop and have a look at the Timber Museum or the Wondai Art Gallery.

For the more adventurous there are 20 kms of single track mountain bike trails right next to town with an entrance to the network right on the Rail trail as you enter Wondai from the South.
