Kingaroy to Memerambi
Time to get away from the business of life and out into the beautiful South Burnett countryside.
Details
The first section of the South Burnett Rail Trail is from Kingaroy to Memerambi. An 11 km ride passing through some of the rich red soil farming country that the South Burnett is so famous for.
Facilities at Memerambi include toilets and a picnic shade shelter.
If you have time, visit Memerambi Springs – a family run public garden. Stroll through their amazing oasis of running springs, water gardens and old charm buildings.
Two of our Loop Rides start in and just out of Memerambi:
The Gordonbrook Dam Route takes you for a 8kms ride out to the Day Use Area on the shores of Gordonbrook Dam. There are picnic facilities and toilets, but no fresh water available.
The East Memerambi Loop Ride starts right next to the picnic shelter in Memerambi. This Loop Ride takes in some of the best views in the South Burnett and is well worth the extra effort.
